SALAVERRY (TRUJILLO) PERU When we woke up this morning we were docked in Salaverry Peru. Salaverry is the harbour area approximate 1/2hr outside Trujillo. Panama Canal Today we are going through the Panama Canal from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific ocean. It takes roughly 8 hrs to navigate through the canal. The Canal was opened in 1914 and expanded in 2016.
